Last Friday I attended the first DnD in my life. Special thanks to my supervisor and lab people who invite me to go. (And also pay for me ^^ )

The theme of the DnD was Casino Royale. One of the three ladies (my lab people) asked us to wear a casino related things to suit the theme. And just because we (me and the others two sudents) are very obedient towards her, we have done last minute shopping at Bugis street to search for that casino related things. ^^;;;

However, we’ve got quite a fun adventure there. Haha..the girls managed to get rings with our name initial and a dice on that. The fun part is when we tried to find something for the guy. We were almost unable to find something which is casino related and in affordable price for him. Lucky at very last minute we were successful to get a card shaped ciggarete lighter there. Haha…But I don’t what he will use the ciggarete lighter for after the party since he doesn’t smoke.

Then, we’ve just realized that we are quite late for the DnD. At first one of the staff in ICES said that he will drive us to the place (Fort Canning Park) from city hall. However he told us that the traffic jam was pretty bad that it was  better to walk. So, we run all the way from bugis to dhobbygout and we still need to take a walk from there. The worst part was because I wear high heels. I’ve trained myself to wear that high heels for 2 weekend days actually and I think I pass the training very well. I was running with 6 cm pin high heels. Not bad rite? That was the third time I wear my high heels.  ^^

After we arrived at the place, the girls needed to change our clothes and do make up first since we were sweaty, and just wearing shirts and shorts. So we just rushed to the toilet and did our things there. Quite fun LOL..

The DnD itself was nice. Not so fierce like what I heard before from my friends about DnD before yet still fun. The food was nice also. Hoho..The games were casino related games and the concepts were pretty smart and funny. ^^ It also had lucky draw session but students are not included in there…huhuw. I think I’m quite a lucky person. Usually at least I got something from the lucky draw once a year.   

One of the three ladies then drove the girls home to the boonlay area. Thank you ^^. But I didn’t have time to change my dress into the normal clothes. Therefore it made me a little bit uneasy since I need to take bus. Lucky I was bringing my jacket with me. Haha…if not I think it will be quite scary if someone see a girl in red dress waiting alone in the bus stop at late night. If I were the bus driver maybe I will think twice to stop. Hoho..

At last I arrived at the hall safely and happily although quite tired. ^^
